 OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS – YOUR VILLA RENTAL

 Please read carefully!

 

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OUR VILLA RENTALS:

 After making your villa bookings with us, we ask 10 days to send us your rental deposit. Sending us your payment in response to sending you our Rental Confirmation (invoice), is an agreement of your acceptance of the terms and conditions as printed below. If you have any questions about any of the following, please don’t hesitate to phone us before you send us your rental deposit monies.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:

Twenty percent (20%) of your rent is due within 10 days of booking to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The balance due rent, is to be paid in full at least 30 days prior to your arrival. All cancellations and any requests for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons in your group), must be made IN WRITING, and faxed, emailed or mailed to us.

Cancellations 30 days prior to your arrival date: 80 percent (80%) of your total rent will be refunded to you and 20 percent (20%) of your total rent will be retained by Azure Developments Ltd.

We’ll always do our utmost to help fill dates cancelled, so that a full or partial refund can be made to you without loss to the villa owner. Refund arrangements will depend on the amount of notice given to us of your cancellation.

In some cases, you may be able to rebook your villa at a later date without penalty to you. Please ask us.

PLEASE NOTE that all offshore banking laws apply to the Caribbean islands and no debit cards are accepted. Please travel with an International Credit Card.

INSURANCE

Azure Developments Ltd. recommends taking out cancellation insurance.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

CHECK-IN TIME IS 2 pm or according to occupancy

We ask our guests to vacate the villa at 12 NOON, There may be other groups of guests checking in the same afternoon, so our housekeepers will need time to clean and prepare the property for the incoming arrivals.

You’re welcome to check if anyone is arriving the day you leave; if not, you’ll be welcomed to stay on later into the afternoon at no charge. But be sure to check with us first so we can notify the staff.

 

YOUR ARRIVAL ON THE ISLAND – IMPORTANT: We will need to know your airline FLIGHT NUMBER, ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES, and your CAR RENTAL COMPANY before you travel. This is essential – to arrange an escort person to meet you at the airport and lead you to the villa.

Always travel with your list of our contact numbers in case of emergencies, so we can help. Also be sure to bring your passport OR your original birth certificate with a photo I.D. If your flight is delayed or cancelled while en route, make sure to contact us so we can notify everyone involved, including your car rental company. You may phone us any weekday during office hours 8.00 am- 4.00 pm on +1.868.6213835/36 We are on Atlantic Standard Time which is one hour ahead of New York’s time in winter. After office hours call your contact person given.

 

SPECIAL SERVICES: We offer an Airport Meet and Greet and escort to your villa.

We can arrange almost anything you wish, also your car rentals (to be delivered to the villa or picked up by you at the airport on arrival). Discuss your needs and wishes with your contact person or email info@azurevillas.com.

You will have our contact numbers in case you need anything (including advise) during your vacation. We will also assist you back to the airport upon your departure.

 

CAR RENTAL:  Please be sure that you rent a vehicle that is big enough for your entire party PLUS your luggage. Island rental cars can be compact models and jeeps will hold four passengers but little luggage – please plan accordingly.  If you have rented a small vehicle and cannot take the entire luggage, your escort person can take your luggage in his or her vehicle.

 

HOUSEKEEPING/MAID SERVICE:

Housekeeping services are from Monday through Friday and until12 noon on a Saturday. This service is for hotel-type general cleaning and tidying only; any personal laundry or cooking or babysitting must be arranged in advance with us, and prices will be set according to services required. If you would like to tip the housekeeper (a good tipping guide is US$2.50 to US$4.00 per day of your villa stay).

 

CAPACITY OF VILLAS: is based on the total number of people rented to. Guests need to check with their contact person or Azure Developments Ltd regarding extra persons joining.

 

PARTIES: Large parties or functions such as wedding require permission.

 

COMPLAINTS AND MAINTENANCE: Azure Developments Ltd. shall make every effort to keep all villas and their inventories in good working order. In case of a maintenance problem, repairs will be made as soon as possible after being notified.

Due to some fluctuations in the island electrical services we cannot guarantee that hot water or the electrical systems in the villas will operate correctly at all times. No refund or rate adjustments shall be made for unforeseen mechanical failures such as the supply of electricity, telephone or cellular phone service, water, pool filtration systems, air conditioning, television or cable service, appliances etc. Guests are asked to report any problem or damage at their villa to us.

 

SUBSTITUTION: Azure Developments Ltd shall substitute comparable or better accommodation without liability, should the villa reserved be sold, be out of order or be deemed substandard by us for any reason. If comparable accommodation is not available, guests may receive a complete refund of all pro rated rent.

 

STAFF ENTRY: Azure Developments Ltd staff may enter your villa to perform any repairs as necessary by advance appointment made with the guest. We will make every effort to schedule such brief showings at a time convenient to you, to respect your privacy and not interrupt your vacation.

 

DAMAGE/S:

Guests will agree to pay Azure Developments Ltd for any major damages caused.

 

LIABILITY:

Azure Developments Ltd. is acting hereunder as agent for accommodation and assumes no liability for property loss or damages, nor liability for injury, accidents, delays or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or the acts of any company or persons engaged in conveying passengers to or from their villa.

Transportation (airlines, ferries, charter vessels, rental cars, taxis) is supplied by providers who operate independently of Azure Developments Ltd. We assume no responsibility, therefore, for any loss, injury or damage to person or property because of the acts of those providers. Furthermore, guests are responsible for their villa during occupancy, and must lock the windows and doors to the villa securely when not on the premises and must observe all cautions as given by your escort, villa manager and/or contact person. A safe for valuables is provided. The villa owner and Azure Developments Ltd. reserve the right to refuse accommodations or services to anyone at their complete discretion.
